Gifts for a Secret Friend

Wow...what fun I had making these items for a secret friend in one of the exchanges I'm in. I did some research and found out that her favorite colors are pink and black so I stuck with that theme on all of the altered projects. The lunch box is filled with all kinds of goodies for her and the small tin which is altered, I made a bracelet for her with her favorites pink and black.

Here are cards for 3 different swaps, two of which I am hosting: prima swap and summertime theme swap, the last one is for a Gina K swap using Autism stamp set and since my son is autistic, I had to join!!! Away From Blogger World --Walt Disney World Bound

My family and I are taking a much needed vacation leaving tomorrow (Friday, April 27) and returning late Sunday, May 6. It's off to Walt Disney World where dreams, magic and memories are made. My parents are going with us as well and it's the first time they've been there since I was 11 years old (25 years ago) so alot has changed since they've seen it. Will look forward to looking at everyone's creations when I get back from my trip.

BRIGHT, SPRINGY GIFT & FUN TO MAKE

This weekend I'm going on my first scrappin retreat and I can't hardly wait. I hear you have a blast, along with getting overdue scrappin done. I created these mini notebooks w/ cordinating pen paper. I found the little pails (which I added the pink gingham ribbon to the handles to match the pens and notebooks) at Target ($1 section of course). I'm going to place the notebooks, pen and spring wrapper colored chocolates (reese cups, hershey kisses, you get the idea) in the pails at the table I'll be at with my roommates who invited me to go and invited me to share the room with them. This was a fun project and I had a blast this morning putting it together. And now to assemble the finished project to add the yummies (chocolate) to it, get the rest of my scrappin things together and pack a few clothes.............and I'm off tomorrow.
